When I was living in San Francisco, I had a special lunch at the Rotunda at Neiman Marcus. The beautiful restaurant is at the top floor of the department store and over looks a busy shopping street. However, I was too busy enjoying their amazing “popovers” to enjoy the view when I first got there. Taking the place of plain old bread at the start of the meal, the delicious airy puffs of dough are paired with sweet strawberry butter. I came across their recipe recently (they also sell the popovers) and wanted to share partly because I’m dying to enjoy them again. These are great for your next dinner party or solo party, I’m not judging.
