What I’m Thankful For This Year

26 Nov 2014 0

This year has been nothing short of life-changing. The last twelve months have been full of learning, new ideas, good luck and time to reflect and grow. I can’t leave out beloved bike rides by the beach!

A lot of amazing things are on the horizon and I can’t help but think about what I’m thankful for in anticipation of sitting down for Thanksgiving on Thursday.

1. My Inner Circle
I always prefer quality over quantity and this couldn’t be truer when it comes to those who I feel very blessed to call my family and friends. The last year has not been the most conventional path but they have believed and trusted in my desired path.

2. To Covet + Bestow
Not even a year old, this baby has been an amazing therapeutic place for my writing and my quest for knowledge in all things that I love and the fact that I get to share is just the icing on the cake.

3. My Travels
Traveling is a frequent vice that my best friends and I absolutely could not live without. I’ve traveled to Palm Springs for the first time for an amazing girls weekends in March, Dominican Republic for an Adults Spring Break (so much fun!) in May and I’ll be ringing in 2015 in Panama. The travel bucket list is never ending.

4. More Balance
This year has given me one of my more treasured gifts, time. Time to balance my priorities and perspectives. Time to learn to say No when needed and Yes when desired. Time to balance my personal and professional life.

5. New Bonds
I’ve met some really amazing new friends and mentors this year. Life is nothing without significant relationships and I love, love, love to covet the best ones I can.
