Fall has been a busy season so far in all the best ways! I’ve attended a few beautiful bridal showers and a very sweet one year birthday. Thanks to Pinterest, Etsy and imaginations, there has been very special touches that I loved, coveted and thus wanted to bestow on here.
The greatest thing about inspiration is that it will never run dry, there are so many ways to give fresh touches to traditional parties celebrations. I, for one, have a very long running list of ideas for my own future parties but it wouldn’t be without the ever-creative people around me that provide inspiration.
1. Making Memories: At the “One-darland” party, not only did we dress up (see below) but there was a fun photo booth but my favorite part was that there was a scrap book to put in a copy of the photo strip, markers and stickers to create a memorable page for the baby to look back on when they’re older. So sweet!
2. 12 Months of Gifts: At a bridal shower, my girlfriend’s mother-in-law put time and love into create small baskets for every month of the first married year including fun items from dishtowels to candles to Christmas ornaments.
3. Name Card Freshness: For a rustic bridal shower, mason jars were adorned with name cards for place settings. It perfectly suited the vibe!
4. Something Old: I love hope chests! At the same bridal shower, the mother had bought a antique chest for the couple to have as a coffee table and stuffed it with special items such as monogrammed blankets, registry items and sweet mementos.
